Jamie O'Callaghan decided to try and form a rock band that came some years later (about in 2001). The Colour of Time played once on 'Queen's day' in The Netherlands and recorded the album 'Jazz, but not as we know it'. 2002: it was difficult to keep everyone together and there was little work to keep every one together. Hans Schepens stitched back to guitar and Jamie O'Callaghan went back to the drum machine, to record the album 'Let the machine talk', which is still progressive but more in the direction of Jamie O'Callaghan's teenage love of John Foxx and Ultravox!. 2003: The Colour of Time played at the Muzenval Theatre in Eersel (The Netherlands) 'Odessy through the 70's ' which was supposed to bring them more publicity. The Colour of Time recorded the album 'Amber Skies'. After that Jamie O'Callaghan really want to form a band like Ultravox but Hans Shepens didn't like that so they parted ways. 2004: The Colour of Time recorded Neon album and went solo to the Czech Republic where they performed to 20,000 people and were very popular. But yet again no further progress so Jamie O'Callaghan returned to the Netherlands. Jamie O'Callaghan was asked in the winter time to perform a charity concert for the victims of Beslan. The Colour of Time played electronic versions of Satie and Debussy and 'Just for a moment' and 'Hiroshima mon amour' for encores and those 2 songs proved to be the most popular of the evening. 2005; in March Hans Wijnen died of cancer. The Colour of Time came to a stop for a while. Then Jamie O'Callaghan had contact with an old friend John Curry and they made the album 'Long ago' which was recorded in the Netherlands and in England. 2006: In February 2006 The Colour of Time recorded the album 'Neon winds'.
