Ultravox to reform and tour in 2009

Following recent speculation, we are very pleased to announce the most exciting Ultravox news in over twenty years - and as Ultravox.org.uk subscribers, you're hearing it first! Warren Cann, Chris Cross, Billy Currie and Midge Ure - all four members of the 1980s Ultravox lineup - will come together for the first time since performing at Live Aid in 1985, for a UK tour in 2009. Entitled Return to Eden, the tour will kick off on April 10th for 14 dates.

EMI are to release all the Ultravox and Midge Ure albums from the Chrysalis-era

July 2008 - These will be regarded as Remastered Definitive Editions.
Disc 1 will contain the original UK album, whilst Disc 2 will include all of the B-sides and extra tracks taken from accompanying singles, plus a selection of previously unreleased material.
The release date for the remastered Vienna and Rage in Eden albums is 22 September 2008.

Midge Ure at the Night Of The Proms Shows October and November 2008

We are pleased to announce that Midge has been asked to join the Night Of The Proms shows in Belgium and The Netherlands in October & November 2008.
Midge will be joining the house band, replacing John Miles who is touring with Tina Turner.
Midge will be playing guitar in the house band as they back the likes of Sinead O'Connor and Simple MInds as well as singing a song or two of his own.

Covers CD single on sale at German shows

23 March 2008 - Two tracks (Man Of The World and Alfie) from the long talked about (27 years!!) covers CD will be released as a promo single to German radio for the tour in April.
This limited edition (1000 copies) 2 track CD, called 'Two', will also be sold at the German shows, and online in the MidgeUre.com shop (shipping to begin after the German tour).
The full CD, entitled 'Ten' will follow later this year.
